Queenstown is AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL!

On our first day in Queenstown - New Zealand, we left our bags in the Hilton hotel -FINALLY AFTER 2 DAYS OF STRAIGHT TRAVEL- which was very fancy and even had room service! ooooh, fancy! After, we went to the ‘Public’ restaurant to eat lunch by the beach, which by the way was beautiful! I skipped rocks successfully for the first time there! When we had finished lunch, the kids went to play in the beach and watch the dolphins! -not real dolphins, some little dolphin shaped jets that jump out of the water. I wanted to go on one-

After we had finally eaten lunch, we went to ride a skyline gondola up a tall mountain, and at the top we rode even higher on a ski lift, came off, got to a… kart ride? Thats something I never thought I’d say… We raced down the mountain about 3 times on little karts, trying to beat everyone else on a fast ride down the mountain! The boys kept competing like little babies. It was very funny and I beat alot of people, even them.

The next day, we woke up extra early to fly around the island and to Milford Sound! It was a beautiful view, and we flew over where Lord of the Rings was filmed! Woah! I was so happy, and the mountains were peak. Haha… get it..? We passed by high mountains, blue glaciers, and also saw the highst waterfall in New Zealand from above! we rode a small plane that only fit us, driven by a 24 year old woman! -Heck yeah girl power-

After the plane ride, an extra boat ride through rocky cliffs, and a bus back to town, we ate a quick lunch-dinner then took a long time to drive up a mountain up to an abandoned ski station that wad very high up! It looked like a sci-fi movie my dad would watch honestly.

We came down pretty soon though because it was getting dark. Afterwards, We went to eat dinner outside in the hotel when a BIRD hit the window beside us and fell!! We saved it, I let it rest on my blanket as i pet its head, and soon it recovered and flew away!! YAYY! As it left, it turned to us and tweeted a lot and I swear it talked to us. But dont take it from me.

The next day, we rode bikes from 9 am to 3 pm, 16 miles!! NONSTOP!! I was so so so tired, but not as tired as Marina! She rode all the way even after falling 5+ times, and everyone was so proud of her! Afterwards we swam in the hotel pool, then took a HUGE break.
